Blackened Lamb, Bell Pepper, and Onions Skewers

Mediterranean cooking has never tasted so good. You can literally use our blackening seasoning blend on any type of food and this is a clear-cut example of thinking outside of the box and giving a twist to a classic dish served all around the world.

STEP TWO: GRILLIN’ PREP TIME
- Heat your grill to medium-high.
- In a large bowl, toss your vegetables with 1 Tbsp Blackening Spice and half the olive oil.
- Thread the lamb and vegetables onto skewers and brush with olive oil and shake a generous amount of Blackening Spice Seasoning.
STEP THREE: LET’S GET COOKING
- Grill your lamb and vegetables on medium-high heat, turning frequently until lamb is medium-rare and the vegetables are tender (this is usually about 8-10 minutes).
- Service with any sauce of your choosing and your lemon wedges.
INGREDIENTS
- 3lbs of Lamb top round or boneless leg, cut into 1.5″ pieces
- 3 Tbsp – Extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 4 Bell Peppers, any color, seeded and cut into 2″ wide strips
- 2 Medium Red Onions, cut into 6 wedges with the roots intact
- Lemon wedges for serving
