Pressure Cooker Crispy Barbecue Wings

Preparation Time: 5 min | Cooking Time: 40 min  |  Additional Time: 5 min | Serves: 4

Save time by making chicken wings in your kitchen’s electric pressure cooker with our Grill Party BBQ® Barbecue Cookout seasoning. Frozen or thawed, these turn out great with your favorite barbecue sauce.

STEP ONE: ORDER GRILL PARTY BBQ® BARBECUE COOKOUT SEASONING

STEP TWO: TURN UP THE PRESSURE

  • Turn your pressure cooker on and set it to manual. Place the trivet in the pot and add the water. Season the wings with your Grill Party BBQ Barbecue Cookout seasoning and place them on the trivet. Close and lock the lid and seal the vent. Set the pressure to high and the timer for 12 minutes. Allow 20-25 minutes for pressure to build.

STEP THREE: LET IT OUT

  • Be careful when releasing the pressure slowly, about 5 minutes. After that you can unlock it and remove the lid.

STEP FOUR: HEAT IT UP

  • Turn your oven on and set it to preheat the broiler with a rack about 6 inches from the heat source. Use the aluminum foil to line the jelly roll pan.

STEP FIVE: GET SAUCY WITH IT

  • Take the wings out of the pressure cooker and use the paper towels to pat them dry. Combine the melted butter with the barbecue sauce. Put the wings on the pan and baste with the sauce.

STEP SIX: CRISPIFICATION

  • Put the wings in the over and let them cook under the broiler, turn them once, and remove when the desired crispyness has been reached (about 5-15 mins)

STEP SEVEN: SERVE IT UP

  • Serve wings hot out the oven for best balance of crisp and juicy flavor from the seasoning and sauce.
